I've lost count. Anyhow, here are a few of my favorite things that
Nolan is doing right now...
- His smiling face is the first thing I see in the morning when he comes running to the side of my bed. I am greeted with "Ake up! Ake up! Brepist time! Brepist time!" daily. (And not before 8am. Ever. I know SO MANY of you moms are totally jealous. If you tell me how to get your kids to eat fruits and veggies I'll tell you how to get your kids to sleep late!)
- I love that I am very rarely "Mama" any more. I have "graduated" and am now affectionately called "Ommy."
- His imagination has caused him to believe that he is, truly, Frosty the Snowman.
- He is now excited to go to church and actually runs ahead of us to get to class!
- When watching the movie Cars he acts out the scenes form the movie with his toy cars.
Some of Nolan's favorite books...
- No David by David Shannon--He practically reads it to me!
- If You Give A Mouse A Cookie by Laura Joffe Numeroff--For some reason the haircut page makes him giggle like no other.
- I Was So Mad by Mercer Mayer--You've gotta love Critter!
- Big Red Barn by Margaret Wise Brown--We are both exceptionally skilled when it comes to making animal sounds.
- The Beginner's Bible--He loves the story of creation and "friends" Adam and Eve. Actually, he doesn't want me to read ANY other story in the Bible. Clearly, we need to work on this!
