My sweet kids couldn't scare a soul because they're so CUTE!
(So much for "Boo!")
Todd and I aren't big Halloween fans so we downplayed the holiday and made no specific plans for the kids. However, the evening ended up being really fun and spontaneous...thanks to NOLAN'S "plan!" Earlier in the evening we dressed the boys up in their costumes and took them to Yogurtland for a treat (in lieu of trick or treating...or so we thought.) When we returned home Nolan had a ball handing candy out to the children who came to our door, but when he realized that HE could go GET candy at other people's homes he wanted to trick or treat too! So off we went! He was so excited to come home and eat three pieces of candy before bed.
I suppose we'll be celebrating Halloween with trick or treating from here on out!

Yup, that's how it starts. We advanced to "decorating" this year with massive spider webs all over the porch.
I LOVE the boys' costumes! They are great!
It really is funny how the kids get SO into the trick-or-treating. My kids think it's the best thing ever.
Next year my goal is to do pumpkin carving--we have not done that one yet, and Anna insists that we need to. :)
